Podiatrist In Camarillo
When the joints and bones at the base of your big toe become misaligned and shift out of position, bunions develop. The big toe moves towards the second toe, generating a bony bump that is prone to discomfort and makes wearing certain types of shoes difficult and uncomfortable for you. Skin calluses can also form when your forefoot is cramped for space and grinds against shoes with each stride, in addition to placing strain on surrounding nerves and ligaments. With the appropriate treatment, a podiatrist in Camarillo can reduce the severity of this common yet bothersome condition. If you're seeking treatment, don't hesitate to call or go to Align Foot & Ankle Center in California.
History
According to records, the Chumash Indians had occupied Camarillo for thousands of years. When Mexico was granted independence from Spain in the early 1820s, California united with the country shortly thereafter. The Mexican land grant system was liberalized in 1824, resulting in a large number of large appropriations in California and an increase in Ranchos north of the border. Rancho Calleguas was founded in 1837 by José Pedro Ruiz, in what is now Camarillo. Juan Camarillo, a member of the Hjar-Padrés colony, purchased the grant in 1834. Adolfo and Juan, two of his sons, are credited with establishing the town that bears their names.
